THE CUSTOMER'S CHALLENGE

Domino recognised the need to go to tender for their Global WAN, and engaged The Network Collective to help focus and streamline the procurement process. Domino were looking for a service provider who could deliver both a network refresh to incorporate new technologies, and provide significant cost savings on their existing WAN.

THE NETWORK COLLECTIVE APPROACH

The Network Collective ran a full Managed Procurement process for Domino, including writing the Request for Proposal (RFP) document; scoring suppliers' responses to the RFP; organising and running supplier presentations; running a Best and Final Offer (BAFO) round; and negotiating the final contract once Domino had selected a Preferred Supplier.

Throughout this process The Network Collective worked closely with both Domino and the suppliers to ensure that we achieved the very best possible commercial and contractual terms; that the WAN procured was the most appropriate design for Domino's purposes; and that we secured market-leading ongoing services and management tools.

As a result of The Network Collective's involvement in Domino's WAN procurement, Domino were able to refresh their network, add backup to half the locations which previously had none, and achieve a 12% cost saving on the WAN as a whole.
