The Project

The core objective was to provide a robust, secure, scalable and future-proofed network solution for SuperGroup’s stores and offices across the globe.

The Challenge
As is often the case with rapidly growing, internationally successful businesses, SuperGroup found itself with multiple incumbent telecoms suppliers. Having a range of contracts proved challenging to manage and inevitably the service often lacked the resilience required by the demands of the organisation.

The Solution
As part of the Strategy Developmentprocess, TNC initially created a high-level scope to define SuperGroup’s current and future WAN and fixed voice requirements. The deliverables included developing a detailed procurement strategy to ensure the process aligned with latest market trends and would secure the optimum future commercial, architectural and operational model for SuperGroup.
Once the procurement strategy was agreed, TNC managed the Competitive Tender process, utilising a proven, end-to-end procurement methodology with rigorous management of all elements of the tender. Once appropriate potential suppliers were selected, TNC issued the in-depth RFI to 13 vendors. TNC’s experienced procurement consultants scored the complex responses against bespoke criteria, to find the best fit, best price and best solution.
TNC then undertook robust discussions on the commercial, technical and operational terms – a large scale and highly complex process. A preferred supplier was selected, based on the high quality technical solution it offered, and its ability to deliver a consistent and scalable service across all territories.
Once selected, TNC’s expert contract negotiators worked alongside SuperGroup’s legal team to secure the full range of benefits and ensure the contract was tailored to SuperGroup’s needs, locking in enhanced terms for the full contract life-cycle. Negotiations ensured greater contract flexibility, along with a reduced risk profile.
