Insight Article – Greatest Hits of 2025

2025 has been a year of incredible change in the network and telecoms market, with seemly non-stop technology change and service provider mergers, all against a constant backdrop of increasing demand for connectivity, ever-rising security threats, and of course the incessant demand for cost efficiencies and savings.

  • Number 1 The most popular article we published this year was “Preparing for Analogue Switch-Off – What You Need To Do”.  This is a great reminder that, for all the amazing new technologies delivering transformation outcomes, there’s a part of telecoms that is old and dusty, but can’t be forgotten and can still bite the unwary on the behind.  And let’s be honest, Analogue Switch-Off is far from finished for many organisations, so here is your annual heads-up from TNC to make sure your house is in order!  

 

  • Number 2 In total contrast, the next most popular was “Unlocking Value with Zero Trust Networking”, which is absolutely focusing on amazing new technologies offering transformational outcomes that address the combined challenges of connectivity, user experience, and security.  Zero Trust could easily be our word of the year (well, phrase of the year J), and you’re going to hear a lot more about it in 2026 too  

 

  • Number 3 We finish our Greatest Hits list with an old favourite that also never goes out of fashion: “How to Deliver Instant Cost Savings on Network and Telecoms”.  This third article focuses on the continual need to ensure your network and telecoms are delivering value for money, and the steps every organisation should be taking to achieve that objective
